EGYPTIAN (SPICE) MARKET
Misir Çarsisi, the Egyptian market or commonly known as the "SPICE MARKET" has become a tourist attraction. As the name suggest, this market filled with fragrance from the exotic East. A local market that sells all kinds of spices, dried fruits, seeds and nuts. It is situated at the south end of Galata Bridge on the Golden Horn in the Eminönü district, right next to the New Mosque (Yeni Cami). Hasircilar Caddesi another place worth seeing. Very colorful, with lots of shops seeling housewares, snacks and also spices.
